Directions to reach Pickfords Self Store in York:
Northbound on the A1: Follow "Non-Motorway Traffic"
as you approach Knottingley. Pass Ferrybridge power station on your left and
immediately branch left onto A162. Continue to roundabout and take 3rd exit
onto A63 eastbound (signed SELBY).
Follow through small villages and around Selby Bypass on A63 (12miles).
A63 runs into A19 without being signed. Follow signs for YORK.
A19 crosses the A64 "York Outer Ring Road" at the McArthur Glen Designer Centre
Roundabout. Stay on the A19 and go through "FULFORD" (12
miles).
As you leave Fulford and approach York you will see the "Imphal Barracks"
and the "North Yorkshire Police Depot" on your right.
Take the next Right Fork into "Cemetery Road" (sign for the District Hospital)
(2 miles). Not the little residential cul-de-sac!
At the "T" junction at the far end of Cemetery Road turn right
(by the city walls) and hold the outside lane.
100 yds, turn right at lights into "Lawrence Street" (A1079 - Hull Road).
100 yds, Turn Left at lights into James Street. (1 mile).
Pickfords is now immediately in front of you.
